TRAILS

Cerro Kavajú has four trails: Panambí Rapé, an interpretive trail running through forest and karaguatá; Yvyty Kavajú, an ascent through rocky outcrops to the viewpoints; and Arco and Tirika, two additional trails with distinctive rock formations that complete the trail network.

The trail passes through semi-deciduous hillside forest, clearings with herbaceous vegetation and karaguatá. Interpretive stations along the route highlight the area's natural communities and emblematic species.

The most emblematic trail in the area, ascending through rocky outcrops and Cerradón to the Silla and Roquedal viewpoints. The rocky outcrops provide habitat for the Tejú tara (Tropidurus spinulosus) and Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus)..
